So tournament 1 over and a creditable performance by the team 4 wins 1 loss and 2nd place after only  4 training sessions.

So to the final game of the day and tournament Coldplay from Belgium, it was time to bounce back from the first loss and to put in a game that the travelling fans would be proud of and they certainley did not disappoint with a 15-1 victory.

Day 3 started early with a 6.30 breakfast followed by a chilly work to the rink for our first game against OHA a tough contest with some great end to end game play with the England teams pressure it was the OHA that broke the deadlock.

England then turned up the heat and and again OHA took advantage and doubled their lead England increased the pressure finally breaching the OHA defence, but unfortunately it was not enough to pull  back and tie the game.

Day 2 part 2 and the day ends with a hard fought win against cholet with all the possession and play England U15's could not convert it into goals as frustration set in an a dubious lack of an offside call cholet took the lead.

The team now had to dig in and focus on there system unfortunately still with the majority of pressure cholet converted a second opportunity which meant the period ended Eng U15 0 Cholet 2.

The second period started much as the first with Cholet under extreme pressure from England only this time the chances went our way with our first then not long after the tying goal with ten minutes left England stepped up the pressure which brought number 3 then number 4 and. Then number 5 the team then finished the game in style as 5-2 winners.

The crowd of parents and family members from the tying goal lifted the team with there support and certinaley deserve a big assist for this result. Now a big game tomorrow when our first game of the day is against Okanagan Acadamy, so it's an early curfew for the players ready for the final push.

Stats to follow

Day 2 and once agin we start with a tough match for the U15's against our nemesis team Rouen again a disciplined performance a tough structured play in the first period allowed us to take the lead as we approached the period break a slight lack of concentration put pressure on us for the last minutes of the period and allowed Rouen to gain the momentum in scoring there first goal. Period end 2-1 to England

Period to started with the momentum still with the French side and the game became more physical but good discipline by the U15's ment the pendulum swung back to the U15's with gap widening with our third goal.

The physicality increased and Rouen were pinalzed heavily giving the advantage to the u15's to finish the game in style running out 4-1 winners

Stats to folloe
